Brook Medical Centre virtual Patient Reference Group (vPRG)
Proposal for our vPRG
With the launch of our new website we've decided to form a 'virtual' patient group.
We would like to encourage a small core group of patients, approximately ten, who will initially give their views about the types and content of surveys that the practice may conduct. We hope this will develop into a Patient Reference Group for Brook Medical Centre which will comment on how the practice is doing and to help identify areas for improvement.
One way we can do this is via the internet. We realise that it can be difficult to attend meetings, so we hope that by having a ‘virtual’ Patient Reference Group patients will feel able to be involved.
In this way we also hope to obtain the views of a broader representation of our practice population, including young adults and people who work who may not be able to attend meetings but are happy to comment via e-mail.
Once we have a core group of patients who would like to take part, our aim is to contact you by e-mail no more than once a month to obtain your views on different subjects or services.
We will also be discussing with this group the results and any proposals for actions which may arise from the surveys that the Practice undertakes
. Go to the PRG Sign Up Form tab to register your interest.
We will be posting any developments about the Group in this section.
Please contact Alyson Turner (Practice Manager) or Kari Limond (Clinical Governance) if you are interested in finding out more.
